Weber AG developed encapsulated short circuit switches , which are installed worldwide in electrolysis plants. Low maintenance and high security of switch operations under full power are characteristics of weber’s equipment.

Weber AG circuit breakers are designed for use in electrical and electronic equipment. They meet international safety standards. One-, two-, and three-pole types are available with different actuation and mounting styles.

In 1996 Schurter acquired Weber Protection AG, a significant producer of circuit breakers.
