Description Santa Ana based Global distributor of electronics components technology-driven companies, is seeking an experienced Sales Representative in our Santa Ana California office for our Electronic Components Distribution division and our online stores for Computer Memory and components.
The Sales Representative will be responsible for the sale of semiconductors and electronic components. The ideal candidate must be well versed in the process of defining, developing, prospecting, servicing and nurturing a defined account base, while being able to identify client requirements, create opportunities, negotiate variables and close orders - all while ensuring total customer/vendor satisfaction.
College courses and familiarity with Memory products and Yahoo store application transaction is Fluency in Chinese language is a plus.

Requirements Candidates should have at least two years of experience for components sale. Must be proficient in MS office and excel.
Should be detailed oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Identifies and creates innovative sales opportunities.
- Understands and executes the sales order process.
- Maintains and adheres to appropriate sales metrics and business requirements set forth by management to include daily phone time, new prospect development, and maintains and enhances customer relationships.
- Learns, understands and remains current on market conditions including, but not limited to, customer/vendor base and their availabilities and requirements, pricing and competitive alternatives.
- Develops and implements strategic purchase programs at key accounts.
- Learns, understands and adheres to Converge credit requirements.
- Consistently maintains and accurately updates the information database.

Position: Semiconductor Sourcing Specialist

Objective of the job:
- Trading integrated circuits in fast paced distribution environment
- Maintaining existing and developing new relationships with suppliers
- Place purchase orders and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner
- Work closely with the sales support team to expedite and process all sales and purchasing paperwork.
- Work with other Sourcing Specialists to maximize buy-side and sell-side trading opportunities
- Act as a resource for the technical/market inquires from the Sales and Sourcing departments
- Ensure total customer/supplier satisfaction
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years successful experience in a sales support or customer service related role and trading of integrated circuits including Flash, DRAM, SRAM, Microcontrollers, etc.
- Must have a sophisticated understanding of and remain current on market conditions including, but not limited to customer/vendor base and their availabilities and requirements, pricing and competitive alternatives.
- Must be able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Maintain expected purchasing activity requirements set forth by management
- Successful track record in inside telephone sales
- Strong negotiation skills
- Excellent PC skills - Excel/Access
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Dedicated team player
- Demonstrated leadership qualities
- Able to learn technical information quickly
- BA/BS preferred
