Tektronix

Tektronix, Inc. is an American company best known for manufacturing test and measurement devices such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and video and mobile test protocol equipment. In November 2007, Danaher Corporation acquired Tektronix as a subsidiary.

Tektronix is widely credited with commercializing the first oscilloscope that incorporated the “triggered sweep circuit,” which allowed users to pick up and display high-speed electronic events without delays or interruptions.

Tektronix, Inc. manufactures and supplies test, measurement, and monitoring equipment. Its products include oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, protocol analyzers, bit error rate testers, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, digital multimeters, power analyzers, DC power supplies, frequency counters and timers, RF power meters, coherent optical solutions, probes and accessories, baseband video test solutions, MPEG video test solutions, and components.
